Sketching Workshop

Sunday, September 3-10, 2017

Here’s what to expect!
Along with being able to sketch and photograph so many neat places, you also only unpack once and get the “royal” treatment at a charming 15^th century market town hotel.

What we’ll sketch:
The workshop will be conducted every day from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You are then free to explore in afternoons and evenings. We will travel around the town, sketching various sites from town hall to the River Kennet. If the weather is inclement, we will be using the hotel’s facilities and work from photos/slide presentation.

Additionally, we take a few field trips: Avebury, Chiseldon, Bath, Lacock and Castle Combe. Tuition does not include transportation costs, entrance fees or other incidentals.

Hotel Cost
We’ll stay at the charming Castle & Ball Hotel.
The accommodations include breakfast.
£795 for a double room for the week.

Workshop Tuition
The workshop tuition includes a week’s instruction, workbook (s), pre-trip workshop in Oregon studio (outside of Oregon via Skype), travel journal newsletter and some materials: $700
Spouse/Friend fee $100**

Deposit of $50 to reserve spot. Minimum of four students; maximum 10 students. *Rate subject to change. **Spouse and/or friend fee is for those who accompany us but who do not participate in workshop instruction.

Physical limitations
While Chiseldon, Avebury, Marlborough, Bath, Lacock and Castle Combe are somewhat easy to traverse; students should be able to walk for a mile or two on uneven ground and cobblestone.

Workshop fee may be covered by travel insurance for dire emergencies, see your travel agent for details.

Cancellation Policy for workshop
Deposit is non-refundable but transferrable. Tuition is non-refundable unless cancellation is made within 48 hours of final registration.
